Is this scanned from the slide ! or from a Print from the slide?
The image is iconic for the 60's

One of my favorite photographer from the 60's is David Baily:

I can imagine you still think about her sometimes.
Wouldn't it be great if you could take a similar picture of her now?

It would be great if you could share the "original" one before the post editing work, just as a reference!

My only crit would be that she could be a bit to the right, so that there's more space in front of her than behind her, but it still looks very good this way.

The pastel colours really works well.
The eyes are mesmerizing.
Well done!

One thing though that I noticed. Her proportions seem a little distorted. You must've held the camera real close. I'm assuming this was purposeful to emphasize her eyes.

I shall try to find her and show her the picture and also ask her to pose for a new shot. But I believe it can become difficult then she certainly is married and then probably have new surname.

I do have to say

But I find that this image would have been more at home in Photomanipulations and it wouldn't have done it ANY harm - it's still a gd nice pic and I give you 9 right away. Just find it should have been placed in PhotoManip. Particularly the age of the negatif/positif says something to me - after all those years, it simply can't look that good anymore. I make silverprints of that kind of stuff very frequently and it is very, very rare that I get something that looks just average good.
Well, as a new member, I couldn't give you more than 5 ....

I have amended the image after the scanning, Correct the color tint, stretched the color plus adjust the skin. If that's manipulation have you entirely right.
...and then I move it to photomanipulation!
